Among the introductions, Ganz Cloud, an IP camera and integrated online service for video monitoring, GanzView, a mobile surveillance application that allows live video streaming to the iPhone, iPad and Droid and the new Ganz Digimaster real-time H.264 DVR Series that allow video access through mobile devices and is compatible with GanzView and MobileCamViewer.

3 Megapixel DC Auto Iris Varifocal

This lens was designed from ground up to capture precise detail in critical security applications. High quality optics maximize performance with 3 megapixel camera sensors, providing a sharp image in both center and corners of the image plane.

Full HD Format

Standard megapixel lenses often display soft or distorted images on the edges of an HD sensor. By enlarging the image circle design, this series is fully compatible with 720p and 1080p 16:9 format image sensors as well as the standard format 4:3 sensors.

Precise Focus Adjustment

Setting the focus on megapixel IP cameras has been a challenge, especially when working with a limited adjustment range and transmission delays through a network. The focus mechanism on this series has been redesigned to allow more precise focus control. The focus ring rotates a full 180 degrees for better fine-tuning.

IR Corrected Optics

Megapixel cameras utilizing a retractable IR cut filter must use IR corrected lenses to avoid focus shift. Our lenses are designed to work with these true day/night cameras, maintaining sharp focus in both day and night mode even when IR illumination up to 950 nm is deployed.

Corner Brightness

Computar Introduces 5 Megapixel 7x Macro Zoom Telecentric Lens

June 7, 2010, Commack, NY – Computar® previewed the TEC-V7X, a 5 megapixel 7x macro zoom telecentric lens recently at the Vision Show in Boston.

This high performance lens incorporates 2 design functions. It operates both as a 7X macro zoom lens with 0.07X to 0.5X magnification and as a telecentric lens within the 0.25X to 0.5X magnification range. It provides excellent brightness throughout the zoom range, maintaining 70% illumination at both center and corners.

The TEC-V7X’s unique features provide the versatility to meet a wide range of industrial applications. The working distance is adjustable from 182-577mm and a F4.3-32C manual iris allows precise depth of field and contrast adjustments. This lens is suitable for cameras up to 5 megapixels with 1/1.1” sensors.

THRU Vision Series

January 11, 2010, Commack, NY – CBC announced the Ganz® THRU Vision Series of cameras and lenses, engineered to sharpen and increase visibility in conditions where fog, haze, smog, sand or rain impede outdoor video surveillance. The “MIST” technology, pioneered by CBC and the first of its kind, can be used for mission-critical perimeter surveillance, port, harbor and airport security applications.

The real-time MIST technology of the Ganz® THRU Vision Camera works with any C/CS-mount lens, by focusing through obstacles present in the atmosphere that can obstruct or deteriorate video image quality (i.e. fog, rain, haze, smoke or snow). The camera’s dynamic range control (DRC) function detects and measures image intensity on the screen.
By digitally adjusting color and contrast, poor quality images caused by environmental factors are automatically corrected. Digital and True Day/Night models are available.

For extreme long distance surveillance, the THRU Vision Camera can be paired with the Computar® THRU Vision 60X Zoom Lens (25-1500mm w/extender) to clear obstacles and provide images clearer than the human eye. Lens technologies previously available were not able to reproduce color images, or focus through solid particles like smoke, sand or snow.
